Who Needs to Verify?

Here are reasons you may want to ID Verify your LiveDeal account:

• You are using a free internet email service. LiveDeal requires members who register using a free email address such as Yahoo! or MSN Hotmail to ID Verify their accounts in order to post items. This enables you to continue to use your free email address on LiveDeal.com. Acceptable email accounts that do not need to ID verify include those from your paid ISP, place of business, organization, educational institution, etc.
• You want to list your items nationally. If you only want to list your items locally, you do not need to ID Verify. If you want people outside your local region to view your listing, verifying your account is required.
• You want to use the bulk upload tool to list thousands of items automatically in your Store Account.
• Give your ads the winning edge. Verified members will have a green check mark on all their ads.

How Does ID Verify Work?

When LiveDeal members are verified using (PayPal account), their financial institution validates that they have a valid credit card or bank account. The IDVerification is valid for the life of the account. The IDVerify charge is non-refundable and the amount charged is deposited into your LiveDeal account as a non-refundable "Credit". This Credit expires after 3 months and can be applied towards your purchase of any optional features that may have fees attached. Examples of optional LiveDeal features include: Home Page features, Category features, Item Highlights, Gifts, and any Listing fees.
